CPI Reaches Silver Milestone, Celebrates Employee Ownership

CPI Celebrates Ownership

Since its doors opened in 1991, Chatsworth Products (CPI) has maintained an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) structure, where all employees become beneficial owners. This unique culture not only inspires employees to build high-quality products, but also to continually delight customers through unrivaled customer service and technical support.

CPI was founded by a small group of individuals who were committed to delivering high-quality products to the rapidly growing information technology (IT) market. Today, CPI has engineering, manufacturing and sales offices across the United States and around the globe. This forward-thinking spirit is what motivates CPI to delight its customers by responding rapidly with tailored standard and custom solutions that give them a higher return on investment.

The products CPI develops make up the data centers of many reputable corporations globally, including Scripps Networks Interactive (HGTV, Food Network and Travel Channels) in the United States, telecom firm Telefonica Vivo in Brazil, Regents Emirates Pearl Hotel in Abu Dhabi, and Shanghai Tobacco in China, to name a few.

This year, CPI is celebrating 25 years of providing quality products and solutions that protect valuable technology investments around the world. And this month, CPI is one of more than 10,000 companies celebrating National ESOP Month.

During ESOP month, CPI employees will be participating in team-building activities and competitions that will encourage education about what it means to be an employee-owned company.  

“It’s about empowering our employees to think and act like owners,” says Amanda Siek, CPI’s Human Resources Business Partner Manager.  “Recognizing that our greatest achievements come from working as a team, learning from one another and bringing out the best in each other,” she adds.
