WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif.—Chatsworth Products, Inc. (CPI), a 100% employee-owned leading manufacturer of structural support systems for technology equipment, and Delphi Corporation (NYSE: DPH), a world leader in mobile electronics, electronics integration, transportation components and systems technology, announce the introduction of an innovative thermal solution for maintaining safe temperatures within datacom cabinets.
In response to the increasing demand for more effective data center cooling, CPI introduces the Cold Storage Solutions line incorporating Delphi Electronics Cooling Systems (ECS). Delphi's advanced thermal technologies have been combined with CPI's expertise in structural support issues within data center environments, resulting in the development of innovative new products and real world solutions for the datacom market.
The new Delphi ECS Enclosure Blower marks the first product in the CPI Cold Storage Solutions line which is now available from CPI's Authorized Distributor network. The unique design of the Blower optimizes distribution of raised-floor cooling system air within the datacom cabinet, reducing hot spots up to 15° F. Lightweight and easily installed using just a screwdriver, the enclosure blower fits all standard EIA 19" racks and occupies only two RMU (or less). The maximized cooling efficiency allows users to increase both the number of enclosures per site and the number of servers per enclosure, decreasing potential downtime and increasing server life.
